📋 Description

• Verify patient eligibility when needed.
• Analyze Medicaid claim payments; assess if medical provider reimbursed per state fee schedule.
• Research, obtain records, and submit with hospital claims for prompt reimbursement.
• Review UB 04 components for accuracy; adjust per billing laws.
• Follow up with payers to ensure timely reimbursement with documentation.
• Prepare Medicaid initial bill packets using EnableComp tools.

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor’s preferred.
• 1-2+ years in healthcare billing/collections.
• 1+ years client-facing/customer service experience.
• 1+ years UB-04 billing experience; CMS-1500 a plus.
• Understanding of claims processing and Medicaid payers preferred.
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
