Risk Strategy Analyst

📋 Description

• Monitor platform transactions to detect unusual patterns, fraud, or high-risk activity.
• Conduct merchant onboarding risk assessments (KYB) and ongoing reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Operations to develop risk controls and workflows.
• Use data analytics tools (SQL, Excel, Python) to detect anomalies and create dashboards.
• Review incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on fraud trends, payment regulations, and crypto best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 2–3 years in risk management, fraud detection, or fintech risk.
• Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets.
• Proficiency in English for cross-team and international communication.
• Familiarity with merchant risk, payment fraud, or KYB/KYC is a plus.
• SQL, Excel, and/or Python; BI tools like Tableau/Power BI are a plus.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced env.
