RN School Nurse

📋 Description

• Provide first aid care and medically prescribed services
• Obtain and review consents for medication administration in school
• Document each instance for medication administration
• Train designated staff on medication administration and documentation of medication administration
• Maintain security of school health supplies
• Instruct students in health education

🎯 Requirements

• Current/Active Registered Nurse
• Considerable knowledge of medical and mental health disorders and subsequent treatment
• Considerable knowledge of child growth and development
• Working knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other
• Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of
• Some knowledge of the school organization and the community served
