Robotic Software Engineer, Perception

📋 Description

• Develop, integrate, and adapt AI/ML algorithms for the perception stack
• Create software to autonomously control sensors (EO, IR, lidar, radar)
• Collaborate with sensor, tracking, and autonomy teams for DoD testing
• Deploy containerized solutions to embedded Linux devices for testing
• Interact with DoD customers to understand use cases and requirements
• Drive simulation tooling to replay sensors and autonomy data in tests

🎯 Requirements

• MS or PhD in EE/CE/Robotics/CS or 5+ years in sensor algorithms
• Experience with multiple sensor modalities (EO, IR, lidar, radar)
• ML training/deployment (Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow) on systems (ONNX/C++)
• Familiar with tracking basics (Kalman filters) and sensor fusion
• Linux and Docker experience
• Remote software development, handling large datasets, quick learner
