Robotic Software Engineer, Perception

📋 Description

• Develop, integrate, and adapt AI/ML sensor algorithms
• Create software to autonomously control sensors (EO/IR/radar)
• Collaborate across sensor/track/autonomy for on-site DoD tests
• Deploy containerized solutions to embedded Linux devices
• Interact with DoD customers to capture use cases and requirements
• Drive simulation tooling for post-test analysis

🎯 Requirements

• MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Robotic Engineering, CS, Optimization or 5+ yrs with sensor/HIL
• Experience with multiple sensor modalities (EO, IR, lidar, radar, sonar, acoustics)
• Experience training/deploying ML (Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow) onto integrated systems (ONNX, C++ models)
• Familiarity with Kalman filters and optimal sensor fusion
• Linux and Docker; remote software development and handling large datasets
• U.S. Citizen; eligible for U.S. security clearance; travel 10-20%
