Robotic Software Engineer, Perception

📋 Description

• Develop and integrate AI/ML algorithms for perception across platform sensors
• Create software to autonomously control sensors (EO, IR, acoustics, radar, RF)
• Collaborate with sensor, tracking, and autonomy teams for field DoD demos
• Deploy containerized solutions to embedded Linux devices and collect data
• Interact with DoD customers to understand use cases and triage needs
• Drive simulation tooling for post-processing field test analysis

🎯 Requirements

• MS/PhD in EE/CE/Robotics/CS or 5+ yrs sensor/HIL experience
• Experience with multi-sensor modalities: EO, IR, lidar, radar, acoustics
• Experience ML training/deploy: Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow; ONNX, C++ models
• Tracking basics (Kalman) and optimal sensor fusion
• Proficient in Linux and Docker; remote development; quick learner
• US citizen; eligible for US security clearance; willing to travel 10–20%
