📋 Description

  • Own rotordynamics analysis: critical speeds, Campbell diagrams, damping
  • Design turbine and compressor disks, shaft geometry, blade interfaces for high RPM and thermal loads
  • Model tip clearances and radial/axial growth across the operating envelope
  • Perform structural FEA on rotating components (stress, creep, fatigue, high/low-cycle)
  • Analyse thermal–structural coupling for uncooled turbine stages (temp gradients, transient cycles)
  • Evaluate bearings, couplings, seals, and damping strategies; propose improvements

🎯 Requirements

  • Strong foundation in rotordynamics, vibrations, and high-speed rotating machinery
  • Experience with Campbell analysis, critical speeds, and stability evaluation
  • Hands-on expertise with FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL, Nastran) for stress/thermal fatigue
  • Experience working with bearings, dampers, couplings, and high-RPM mechanical systems
  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a focus on dynamics/structures

🎁 Benefits

  • Core team opportunity at a high-conviction deep-tech startup
  • Build India’s next-gen gas-turbine engines; pioneering tech
  • Work in an environment where hardware development moves fast, ownership is high
