Safeguarding Associate Field Manager - Migori, Kenya

📋 Description

• Conduct safeguarding risk assessments and review tools to identify risks.
• Receive, document, and support safeguarding responses per protocol.
• Establish and maintain safeguarding focal points across the Mothers and Babies program.
• Maintain signposting and referral pathways with local service providers.
• Contribute safeguarding expertise to planning, design, and delivery to ensure safety and inclusion.
• Deliver safeguarding training, onboarding, and sensitisation for staff and partners.

🎯 Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in safeguarding, protection, or related field work.
• Strong judgement to act in sensitive safeguarding situations.
• Fluency in English and Swahili; Dholuo is essential.
• Ability to work independently in field settings and manage priorities.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to survivor-centered practice, confidentiality, and ethical decision making.
