Safety Engineer

📋 Description

• Hybrid role reporting to Risk Management, Safety Engineer.
• Architect risk assessment methodologies and publish internal guidance on risk models and data
• Collaborate with domain experts to build robust risk assessments with scalable execution.
• Define test coverage to support ongoing risk assessments with regression protection and field
• Engage stakeholders, unblock barriers, and develop tools to enable future projects and scale.
• Promote a robust safety culture across engineering and operations.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree in CS, Robotics, Engineering, or 4+ years of practical safety risk assessment
• Experience in software engineering for simulation and data evaluation using Python or similar
• Direct experience developing risk models and using findings to inform decisions.
• Strong knowledge of risk management lifecycle (identification, assessment, mitigation, acceptance)
• Understanding of safety-critical system design and Verification & Validation processes.
• Demonstrated technical project management skills across multiple cross-functional safety-critical
