Safety Officer

📋 Description

• Plan, develop, implement, oversee, and integrate the Center’s Safety Program.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOL, Job Corps, and internal policies.
• Lead safety program administration and awareness campaigns.
• Conduct safety inspections of Center facilities and off-site locations.
• Investigate accidents and report findings with corrective actions.
• Provide training on hazard prevention and regulatory compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or related field; equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in occupational safety/health or OSHA compliance.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Puerto Rico Driver’s License, Category 4.
• Puerto Rico Act 300 certification required.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; training skills.
