Safety & Security Supervisor, DC

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with OSHA
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; document findings and ensure timely
• Facilitate safety training sessions and toolbox talks for warehouse staff, including topics such as
• Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training in accordance with company policy
• Promote a culture of safety through regular communication, coaching, and reinforcement of safe work

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics best practices.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
