Sales Engineer

📋 Description

• Partner with Account Executives to understand customer requirements and technical objectives
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept engagements
• Advise prospects on application security best practices and how Black Duck solutions align with
• Support the technical evaluation process and help drive successful sales outcomes
• Build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Guide customers through deployment planning, implementation, and enterprise-wide adoption of Black

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on software development experience in one or more programming languages such as C/C++, Java
• Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Perl
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of application security concepts, tools, and best practices
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role, including Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer
