Sales Engineer

📋 Description

• Serve as technical lead on active opportunities across Startup, Mid-Market, and Enterprise
• Run technical discovery and map customer requirements to Plaid’s products and integration patterns.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations and own proof-of-concept engagements, including hands-on debugging
• Design integration architectures and validate the approach in sandbox with the customer’s engineers
• Respond to technical, security, and regulatory questionnaires and RFPs.
• Build and maintain reusable selling assets for European use cases and competitive positioning.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role, such as sales engineering, solutions, implementation
• Hands-on understanding of APIs and web and mobile integration, including REST, OAuth, webhooks
• Experience working in, or selling to, fintech or financial services in the UK or EU.
• Ability to move between deep technical conversations and business value conversations with
• A consultative approach, strong customer empathy, and clear communication skills.
• A self-starter who’s comfortable building in a growing region with a globally distributed team.
