Sales Engineer GridGain

📋 Description

• Work directly with customers, partners and sales leadership to close deals.
• Partner with global sales to prioritize resources for targets.
• Present MariaDB portfolio and in-memory compute solutions to clients.
• Prepare SOWs with technical teams; assist with presentations and RFPs.
• Travel as needed to support sales and grow opportunities.
• Staff conference booths when needed to generate leads.

🎯 Requirements

• 8-10 years hands-on Senior Sales Engineer experience.
• Strong DB skills: MariaDB/MySQL preferred; Oracle/SQL Server knowledge.
• In-memory compute platforms such as Redis and Apache Ignite desirable.
• Working knowledge of other databases and open-source tech.
• Experience with complex PoC engagements.
• Experience collaborating with customer success and field teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed; able to work off-hours.
• Bachelor's or Master's in a related field; English fluency mandatory; regional languages preferred.
