Sample Management Technician

📋 Description

• Receive and unpack sample coolers and containers, document incoming materials accurately
• Verify and record sample temperatures upon receipt
• Perform preservation checks on aqueous samples across various container sizes
• Create jobs, enter bottle records, generate labels using LIMS per chain-of-custody
• Transfer samples between reception, storage areas, and laboratory departments
• Prepare and ship sample coolers, assemble client bottle kits

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree in science-related field preferred
• Experience in environmental laboratory preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Accuracy, organization, teamwork mindset
• Strong English, math, and reasoning skills
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 50+ pounds frequently
