Sample Preparation Technician (General Labourer)

📋 Description

• Unpack, sort, transfer, and dry geological samples per work orders and lab guidelines
• Execute crushing, pulverizing, and screening of geological materials per SOPs
• Perform routine quality checks including particle size analysis and dust loss measurements
• Enter QC results into LIMS and maintain accurate work order docs
• Maintain clean, safe workbench; handle materials per safety procedures
• Inspect equipment and report issues needing maintenance

🎯 Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• 0-1 years lab or sample prep experience
• Strong analytical and mechanical skills; able to perform bench tests
• Attention to detail and good time management
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Ability to follow technical instructions safely and accurately
