Sample Receiving Supervisor

📋 Description

• Assures compliance with health and safety requirements and serves as a resource for Sample
• Ensures adherence to QA and QC protocols and departmental procedures
• Supervises daily Sample Receiving activities, including sample login, verification, chain of
• Assists with scheduling, timekeeping review, and coordination of staffing resources to meet
• Provides training, coaching, and support to Sample Receiving personnel
• Ensures effective communication between Sample Receiving, laboratory departments, project

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of laboratory, sample receiving, sample login, or related environmental testing
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred
• Experience with environmental samples, chain of custody review, sample login, and collection kit
• Experience in an environmental laboratory is a plus
• Must be able to work standing for most of the day
