Sample Receiving Technician

📋 Description

• Receive and log incoming water samples per SOPs.
• Verify labeling, integrity upon receipt.
• Record sample details (source/date/time/condition) in LIMS.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and transportation documentation.
• Store water samples with temperature control and preservation of integrity.
• Coordinate with laboratory staff for timely sample delivery for analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a laboratory or sample receiving environment preferred.
• Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols (OSHA, EPA).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with LIMS or similar software.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write and speak).
