Sample Receiving Technician (Entry-level/Non-degree)

📋 Description

• Performs sample handling in accordance with state and local EPA regulations
• Participates in performing tasks related to sample receipt, storage and disposal as well as
• Follow laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs) in the handling and disposal of samples
• Perform sample receiving duties including sample documentation upon receipt, sample storage and
• Effectively communicate with Sample Receiving Manager on sample receipt related discrepancies
• Packing and shipping samples

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) experience helpful
• Computer skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication (oral and written)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting
