Sanctions Compliance Officer

📋 Description

• Own and continuously enhance the sanctions compliance framework
• Serve as the company's primary sanctions subject matter expert, translating OFAC requirements and
• Own the end-to-end sanctions screening framework
• Build and lead the sanctions team responsible for executing the screening framework
• Manage the investigation and disposition of sanctions screening alerts
• Develop and maintain escalation and decision frameworks for potential blocked or prohibited activity

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of sanctions, financial crimes, AML, or related compliance experience
• Deep subject matter expertise in OFAC regulations, sanctions programs, and guidance
• Demonstrated experience building or leading sanctions program and screening operations
• Combination of sanctions advisory and operational leadership experience
• Experience leveraging AI and automation to improve sanctions processes
• Hands-on experience with sanctions screening, alert investigation, and escalation
