SBA Business Development Officer

📋 Description

• Develop and manage relationships with small to mid-size business clients.
• Actively market and originate SBA 7(a) lending opportunities.
• Identify and develop new business relationships to grow your portfolio.
• Prepare and present credit analyses and lending recommendations.
• Structure, underwrite, and negotiate loan terms and conditions within delegated authority.
• Perform credit reviews to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, CS, or related field (Required).
• Equivalent education/experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years in commercial credit and business development, including SBA lending (Required).
• Proven ability to develop and manage relationships with small to mid-size companies.
• Strong knowledge of SBA 7(a) lending products, underwriting, and loan structuring.
• Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
