SBA Underwriter - Senior

📋 Description

• Underwrite SBA 7(a), SBA 504, and USDA loan requests in accordance with established lending
• Gather and analyze complex borrower, financial, and credit information to assess loan eligibility
• Review and approve underwriting conditions within required timelines.
• Review and approve third-party credit-related reports, including appraisals, environmental reports
• Ensure appropriate pre-funding quality-control procedures are completed for all applicable loans.
• Prepare credit memorandums and make appropriate credit recommendations or decisions based on

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 10 years of SBA 7(a) and SBA 504 loan underwriting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of SBA lending rules, regulations, eligibility requirements, and industry
• Experience within a specialized lending industry vertical is preferred.
• Formal credit training is preferred.
• Strong financial analysis, credit assessment, and risk-management capabilities.
