5+ years of Scala development experience
Knowledge of JVM multithreading models (blocking, CAS, Future/Promise, Actors)
Understanding of functional programming ideas (recursion, laziness, pure functions)
Scala 2.x/3.x, advanced FP, type-level programming
Akka (Actors, Streams) + Cats Effect or ZIO
PostgreSQL/MySQL relational DBs and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra)
