School Nurse

📋 Description

• Remove, modify, or reduce health-related barriers to learning
• Provide well-child care, first aid, immunizations, and health support
• Manage daily medications and assist with doctor-prescribed meds
• Advise Operations and staff on health initiatives and systems
• Develop emergency plans and train staff for health events
• Communicate with families about student wellness and health concerns

🎯 Requirements

• Current TN RN license; BSN preferred
• 2+ years nursing; pediatric experience preferred
• BLS, First Aid, and AED certification
• Licensed or eligible for TN RN licensure
• Knowledge of evaluation plans and treatment for illnesses
• Ability to communicate clearly and build positive relationships

🎁 Benefits

• Full-time, approx 10 months; benefits eligible
• Hourly pay $34–$36; non-exempt; overtime eligible
• Mon–Fri, day shift; Aug through end of school year
• Possible travel between campuses for coverage
