School Nurse

📋 Description

• Provide direct clinical care for students, staff, and families across campuses.
• Administer medications per physician orders and school policy.
• Manage chronic health conditions and ensure health mandate compliance.
• Collaborate with educators, specialists, and admins to support health and learning.
• Maintain health records and privacy in FERPA/HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in health-related planning and staff training as directed.

🎯 Requirements

• Completion/Graduation from an accredited RN or LVN program.
• Active Texas RN or LVN license.
• Minimum 1 year direct patient care experience; pediatric preferred.
• Experience with IHCPs, emergency plans, and school health services.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in data entry and use of health records systems.
