Science Engagement Lead

📋 Description

• Brand storytelling and science-led content campaigns across social platforms
• Translate ocean/climate data into engaging narratives for digital and live formats
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and designers to ensure accuracy and visual storytelling
• Serve as spokesperson when appropriate (or behind the camera)
• Identify high-impact conferences and events for Sofar’s participation
• Coordinate event messaging, booth design, and visual experiences

🎯 Requirements

• Background in science, environmental studies, or communications
• Proven multimedia content experience (video, written, visual) bridging science and storytelling
• Comfort leading production or creating content (scripts, campaigns, hosting)
• Attention to detail and commitment to scientific accuracy
• Strategic thinker with metrics mindset
• Experience with design/production partners to bring ideas to life

🎁 Benefits

• Salary range: $80,000 – $115,000 USD
• Hybrid work environment with in-office presence preferred
