Science Lead

📋 Description

• Expand the BSP pipeline; source ideas via researchers, investors, founders.
• Diligence pipeline opportunities; assess science quality, plans, and fit to TPP.
• Develop tech POVs for top approaches and identify gating datapoints.
• Build and maintain the CRM to capture all known projects early.
• Support RFP and investments; publish RFP and drive intake to grant.
• Portfolio management: monitor and accelerate post-investment progress.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD or MD in immunology or infectious disease with 5+ years post-grad experience.
• Experience evaluating diverse scientific topics and portfolio curation (grant/investment).
• Experience with portfolio management, including post-award management.
• Ability to translate diligence into strategic investment recommendations and deployment view.
• Product development experience (or broad exposure via investing in/supporting companies).
• Project management experience from launch to completion; hands-on, results-driven.
