Scientific Director

📋 Description

• Lead scientific team delivering strategic publication work
• Under scientific VP guidance, manage accounts to create high-quality medical content
• Develop and grow publication work with VPs and managing directors
• Identify and develop strategic/tactical recommendations relevant to client strategy
• Lead strategy workshops and facilitate key sessions
• Demonstrate a high level of comfort articulating scientific and therapeutic information in oncology
• Foster innovation and collaboration across Ashfield MedComms to position agency as leader in publication work

🎯 Requirements

• PhD, PharmD, MD with 10+ years of medical communications oncology experience
• Track record of successful scientific leadership across several clients/therapeutic categories
• US launch experience required; Global experience is a plus
• Some travel will be required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing staff/direct reports across multiple locations
