Scientist, Thermal Analysis

📋 Description

• Perform hands-on materials characterization, interpret and report high-quality analytical data
• Discuss thermal and mechanical analysis data and experimental design with clients
• Process and interpret previously acquired thermal or mechanical analysis data and write technical
• Plan upcoming analyses and determine appropriate testing conditions
• Prepare samples, set up instrumentation, and acquire new data
• Evaluate thermal transitions, dimensional changes, mechanical response, or rheological behavior

🎯 Requirements

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant industrial or laboratory experience, including at least 2 years of
• Strong understanding of thermal, mechanical, and/or viscoelastic properties of materials
• Experience designing experiments, selecting appropriate test conditions, interpreting analytical
• Experience solving materials-related technical problems and investigating material behavior or
• Experience with instrument operation, method development, maintenance, and troubleshooting
