📋 Description

• Build self-service flows to reduce customer support load (account recovery, cancellation).
• Build and enhance identity functionality: authentication, session management, data protection.
• Improve login and account creation (passwordless / magic links / passkeys), MFA, identity verification.
• Integrate risk-based fraud detection and security measures.
• Design and implement data retention and deletion workflows (GDPR).
• Write clear technical documentation and maintain quality.

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails; experience with JavaScript/React (≈1 year).
• API integration skills, with a focus on authentication.
• Experience with relational databases at scale, and proficient with SQL.
• Experience with complex backend systems, including MFA, email verification, and risk-based fraud detection.
• Familiarity with version control (Git).
