Securities Finance Trader

📋 Description

• Identify and execute borrow/loan opportunities across equities, fixed income, ETFs.
• Leverage Python and SQL to automate tasks and build analytical tools.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to optimize data pipelines and trading systems.
• Monitor outstanding loans, recalls, and rates to optimize risk and profitability.
• Build relationships with borrowers, lenders, custodians, and firm clients.
• Develop automation tools for optimizing costs, revenue, and workflow.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or related quantitative field.
• 0-2 years of experience in a technical or trading role, ideally with exposure to securities lending or related areas.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with core financial instruments (equities, fixed income, ETFs) and market mechanics.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across teams.
