Security Analyst I, Trust and Safety

📋 Description

• Identify, investigate, and track threat actor campaigns across Box's platform
• Apply analytical tools and techniques to distinguish malicious activity from legitimate customer
• Partner with Trust and Safety Software Engineers to tune the precision and recall of ML/AI
• Respond to complex security escalations and drive resolution
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to design detection and response
• Develop novel analytical methods to uncover hidden patterns and proactively adapt to evolving

🎯 Requirements

• 1-3+ years of professional experience at the intersection of security and data analysis
• Strong fundamentals in SQL and Splunk
• Strong communication and reporting skills
• Intellectual curiosity and deep understanding of product risk landscape
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent practical experience
• Python or scripting experience is a plus
