Security Architect

📋 Description

• Producing security architecture designs for internal systems and customer solutions, aligned with
• Conducting threat modelling and risk assessments to identify and manage security risks in
• Producing security assurance documentation to support internal governance, customer assurance, and
• Working closely with Technical Architects and Enterprise Architects to ensure solutions are secure
• Engaging with the wider cyber security team to assess the impact of emerging threats and
• Supporting delivery teams with security advice and guidance, including hands‑on engagement where

🎯 Requirements

• A Security Architect or senior security engineer with strong design experience, or a technical
• Practical experience designing and assuring secure systems.
• Strong understanding of security principles, non‑functional requirements, and risk management.
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders across engineering, architecture, and governance.
• Experience working in regulated or public‑sector environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001, NCSC Cyber Essentials, NIST, or CIS is desirable.
