Security Control Assessor

📋 Description

• Plan and execute security control assessments for information systems per RMF.
• Independent assessor for RMF Steps 0 to 7.
• Develop and maintain assessment procedures aligned with NIST guidelines.
• Prepare Security Assessment Reports (SARs) documenting findings.
• Collaborate with system owners and ISSOs throughout the assessment process.
• Verify remediation actions and conduct follow-ups.

🎯 Requirements

• Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience; 5+ years.
• Certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.
• Strong knowledge of NIST RMF implementation guidance.
• Hands-on experience with eMASS or similar Information Assurance tools.
• Experience analyzing vulnerability scans and STIG implementations; RMF Step 4 and continuous monitoring.
