Security Design Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead design of integrated security systems for commercial projects.
• Design access control, CCTV/IP video, and intrusion systems.
• Create design packages: drawings, single-lines, floor plans, and specs.
• Perform site surveys and security risk assessments.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, IT, and contractors.
• Support clients with design concepts and technical proposals.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience with access control and CCTV systems
• Experience designing commercial security systems
• Familiar with IBC, NFPA, UL, NEC, ASIS
• Strong client and team communication
• Field travel and site surveys
• Ability to prepare design packages and specs
