Security Engineer – Cybersecurity Posture, Hygiene & AI

📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and consultation to improve cybersecurity posture and
• Prioritize remediation efforts using a risk-based approach for configuration drift
• Develop scripts to leverage application APIs for extracting cybersecurity hygiene and posture data
• Create dashboards and alerts to inform stakeholders of configuration drift and required remediation
• Partner with engineers to document CIS baselines based on internal requirements
• Collaborate with internal cybersecurity teams to identify systems to incorporate into posture and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years’ experience; Master's Degree with 4 years’ experience in information
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity tools such as Tenable, CrowdStrike, and Windows Defender
• Proficiency in using Splunk for data analysis and security monitoring
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell
• Expert knowledge of operating systems, networking protocols, system administration, XaaS models
• Proficient understanding of cybersecurity frameworks including CIS Critical Security Controls, NIST
