Security Engineer (Embedded & Networking)

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain security for SpaceX systems, networks, and data.
• Authentication and identity services, including MFA and access control technologies.
• Identity lifecycle management and automation; build automation for security workflows.
• Network security systems and the backend infrastructure that powers such services.
• Application security controls (e.g. web application firewalls).
• Cloud deployment security policy enforcement and centralized configuration management.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS or STEM, or 2+ years of security software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, C#, C/C++, or Rust.
• Experience designing security solutions for OS, distributed systems, or enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with PKI environments and related technologies.
• Experience with SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
• Onsite only; remote or hybrid work not considered.
