Security Engineer II (Endpoint Security)

📋 Description

• Maintain and expand application allowlisting policies to ensure only authorized software runs on
• Define and adjust enforcement tiers, rollout strategies, and implementation sequencing for endpoint
• Track and report endpoint coverage, blocked software installations, and policy effectiveness
• Review and process software exception requests, assessing justifications against approval criteria
• Update the application allowlist for new software, vendor updates, and changing business
• Build and maintain a knowledge base of allowlist decisions, procedures, and runbooks

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity, endpoint security, or IT operations
• Working knowledge of endpoint management, application control, and software allowlisting concepts
• Hands-on experience reviewing exceptions or access requests against defined criteria
• Ability to investigate blocked software, identify gaps, and assess policy effectiveness
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and audit-ready documentation
• Clear communication skills to explain security requirements to stakeholders
