Security Engineer Intern (Fall 2026)

📋 Description

• Ship and deliver security-focused projects over 12-16 weeks with autonomy and support.
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Infra, and Engineering to integrate security.
• Collaborate with a mentor to grow security skills and career goals.
• Build your network through company socials, events, and ERGs.
• Present your security project to the company at internship end.
• Connect with Cloudflare executives and leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Security fundamentals: OWASP Top 10, XSS/SQLi/CSRF, and mitigations.
• AI experience: Familiarity with using AI tools to streamline tasks.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and drive to learn new tech.
• Curiosity, empathy, and ability to get things done.
• Commit to a minimum 12-week internship.
