Security Engineer (Purple Team)

📋 Description

• Review vehicle software code to identify vulnerabilities with automated tests.
• Lead security verification and validation (V&V) initiatives.
• Set up benches for penetration tests and risk assessments.
• Implement fixes and coordinate remediation with core teams.
• Help design a secure vehicle software platform and architecture.
• Conduct hands-on security testing and risk assessments.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of software or product security engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS, or Software Engineering.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems and hardware interactions.
• Experience with penetration testing or security assessment of embedded systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Python; good Linux/QNX internals knowledge.
• Security expertise in one or more of: C, C++, x86, ARM, cryptography, or exploit development.
• Experience with security tooling and fuzzing frameworks (e.g., AFL, libFuzzer).
