Security Officer - Classified Information

📋 Description

• Own the roadmap to achieve full VS-NfD/VS-VERTRAULICH/GEHEIM clearance.
• Act as Sicherheitsbevollmächtigter to BMWi, BfV, BSI, BAAINBw.
• Build and implement policies, SOPs, registries, and IT accreditation.
• Run the clearance pipeline for Ü1/Ü2/Ü3 with People Operations and authorities.
• Enable the business by translating security requirements into product actions.
• Lead the partner ecosystem to implement postures with suppliers.
• Grow the function from IC to a larger team as needs grow.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep knowledge of the German classified regime: SÜG, VSA, Geheimschutzhandbuch, Geheimschutzbetreuung by BMWi.
• Track record as Sicherheitsbevollmächtigter in defence, intelligence, aerospace, or critical infrastructure.
• Fluent in NATO/EU classification frameworks (NATO SECRET, EU SECRET) with German levels.
• Credibility with German federal authorities (BMWi, BfV, BSI, BAAINBw).
• Strong IT security accreditation paths: BSI Grundschutz, VS-NfD IT, Zulassung.
• Builder's mindset; comfortable in fast-moving environments with accountability.
• Fluent German and English; able to brief at executive, authority, and working level.
