Security Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Set and run the security configuration of the company across different tools used
• Identity, access and lifecycle: manage joiners, movers and leavers, access requests and approvals
• Endpoint management and protection: implement and maintain across macOS fleet, keep fleet in known
• Security controls and access models inside tools: manage configuration of ~12 SaaS applications
• Build internal tooling: access reporting, cross-tool investigation, and a small detection layer
• Handle security events as part of the response when they happen

🎯 Requirements

• Working across multiple areas of security rather than specialising in one, combined with standard
• Judging balance between security constraints and business needs, knowing which control is worth
• Ability to judge urgency of tickets, some urgent (e.g., customer events) and some can wait
• Google Workspace as identity platform: SSO, SAML app integration, groups/org units, admin
• Understanding usage of APIs: REST and HTTP methods status codes, authentication via API keys, OAuth
