Security Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Monitor networks, servers, endpoints, and apps for indicators of compromise.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Automate alerting, audits, and security controls.
• Improve security posture for hybrid cloud and internal systems using MITRE ATT&CK.
• Drive threat hunting program growth and maturity.
• Document processes and brief SOC director on cyber developments.

🎯 Requirements

• Proficient in SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability mgmt, and threat intel.
• Experience with large, complex networks and systems; degree preferred.
• MITRE ATT&CK framework understanding.
• Scripting: Bash, Python, PowerShell; grok/regex patterns.
• Write detections in YAML/JSON; automate incident playbooks.
• Cloud security experience (AWS, GCP, O365) and customer-facing web apps.
