Security Operations Engineer

📋 Description

• Monitor network, server, endpoint, DB, and app activity for indicators of compromise.
• Automate alert collection, prioritization, tasks, and audits.
• Lead incident response, remediation and root cause analysis.
• Enhance security posture for large-scale hybrid cloud env; apply MITRE ATT&CK.
• Drive growth and maturity of threat hunting program to proactively mitigate threats.
• Evaluate and prototype innovative technologies; collaborate on implementation.

🎯 Requirements

• SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, Vulnerability Management and Threat Intelligence apps.
• Experience with large, complex networks and systems.
• MITRE ATT&CK framework proficiency.
• Programming/scripting experience (bash, python, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of log ingestion pipelines, log parsing, grok patterns and regular expressions.
• Write detections using YAML and JSON; automate security incident playbooks.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Information Security, Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; ability to brief SOC director and stakeholders.
