Security Operations Engineer (SecOps)

📋 Description

• Build automated response mechanisms, triage alerts, hunt threats, and help build our data lake.
• Monitor and actively defend Upstart's corporate and product infrastructure.
• Be a key piece of Incident Response, on the front lines of keeping Upstart safe.
• Ingest new log feeds with system owners for security monitoring.
• Build workflows with AI analysis to investigate and triage issues.
• Build common response workflows to expedite investigation with AI and SOAR.

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years of Incident Detection and Response Engineering experience.
• Assume breach mindset; chase threads to completion.
• Strong log-fu; robust log search queries.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Strong Git experience (rebasing doesn't scare you!).
• AWS experience and Infra as Code management of resources.
