Security Solutions Engineer

📋 Description

• Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint, email, and network security solutions.
• Build and tune detection rules, alerts, and playbooks using Defender and Sentinel.
• Onboard acquired entities into New Era's security stack; monitor security posture.
• Monitor security alerts and dashboards; investigate events; escalate incidents as required.
• Administer identity security controls (MFA, Conditional Access, PAM).
• Collaborate with infrastructure, applications, and governance teams on security best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in Security Engineering, Security Ops, or IT Security.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and EDR/XDR platforms.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable or Qualys.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of MFA, Conditional Access, and identity security.
• Experience with ISO 27001 or SOC 2 compliance.
