Understand and carry out testing methodologies as outlined in the Canadian Methods and Procedures
Ensure that the laboratory meets quality and customer expectations in a timely and effective manner
Prepares samples for testing, planting, and evaluating for areas trained and accredited for
Directly supervise Seed Analyst Trainees and Lab Technicians
Ensure staff under supervision are aware of occupational health and safety risks and use personal
Accredited Analyst Scope of Accreditation: Tables 1 through 20

🎯 Requirements

High school diploma plus specialized or formal training equal to 2 or 3 years of college
CFIA seed analyst accreditation or equivalent (ISTA, AOSA, REGAL) mandatory
High level of accuracy required, with special attention to details
French bilingualism is a strong asset
Seed Import Conformity Assessor certification is a strong asset
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
