Seed (Processing) Specialist

📋 Description

• Seed processing operations: assist cleaning, drying, sizing; perform preventive care.
• Equipment handling: operate tractors, forklifts, boom lifts, UTVs, and tools.
• Team collaboration: work with internal teams and external partners to achieve goals safely.
• Recordkeeping: maintain seed processing records and track progress against targets.
• Continuous improvement: contribute ideas to improve safety, efficiency, and operations.
• Communication & culture: foster strong working relationships by teamwork and honesty.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certificate in horticulture, agriculture, or forestry.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Excellent mechanical skills with ability to diagnose and repair minor breakdowns.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and Epicor.
• Practical skills operating seed processing equipment, forklifts, tractors, UTVs.
• Willingness to work full-time including weekends during peak seasons.
