📋 Description

  • Maintain accurate accounts receivable and grants receivable aging reports, review grant agreements
  • Create, maintain, and close grant and program codes across accounting, purchasing card, and
  • Maintain the accounts payable system, troubleshoot synchronization issues, process bank feeds, and
  • Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring appropriate coding, approvals, and documentation, and
  • Support W-8/W-9 maintenance, year-end 1099 preparation, positive pay and ACH controls, and accounts
  • Review executive expenses as required and provide monthly payment reports to the CFO.

🎯 Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in nonprofit accounting or finance operations, including experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or comparable accounting software.
  • Hands-on experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger
  • Familiarity with grant-funded organizations, grant accounting, and revenue recognition for
  • Experience preparing financial statements and supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
