Senior Accountant

📋 Description

• Prepare month-end and year-end close; balance sheet reconciliations; support financial statements.
• Technical accounting research and documentation for policies, procedures, and major transactions.
• Maintain internal controls and compliance procedures to support audit readiness.
• Perform monthly due diligence reporting to validate financial statement fluctuations.
• Support the Controller to complete annual audit; prepare schedules and liaise with auditors.
• Gather and organize data for external tax professionals for federal, state, and local filings.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with complex close cycles.
• CPA license.
• Strong proficiency with GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, Netsuite and G-Suite.
• Experience with multi-entity operations or healthcare accounting.
